Event Summary

Event Overview

RIDERS WHO BOOK ON AFTR 2.30P.M ON FRIDAY 29 AUGUST MUST ARRANGE BIKE HIRE ON THE DAY

Coach led activities for beginners, intermediate and advanced riders in Track cycling. Entry includes track time and bike hire. All activities will be led by British Cycling qualified coaches who will set appropriate challenges.

Please note, following feedback we have split the session into beginner and intermediate/advanced riders. Rider classifications:

Beginner: Have never been on the track or have only been on between 1 and 2 times. Are comfortable riders on a bike but need to develop track-specific skills.
Intermediate: Have been on the track a number of times and are progressing through accreditation. Are confident riding in lines and at intermediate intensities for sustained periods but would like more confidence and skill development in group riding/track specific skills.
Advanced: Are confident and comfortable riding at high intensity for sustained periods, comfortable in lines and group riding, are accredited or nearly accredited and are looking to develop more race-specific skills.

Intermediate and advanced riders are welcome to come to the 'Riders D' in track centre to use their rollers or observe the beginners session. Additionally, beginner riders are welcome to cool down in the Riders D and observe the intermediate/advanced session.
