Event Overview

New Route for the 4th Marholm Sportive Event


The Routes will take place in mainly quiet areas of Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, and Leicestershire on some of the best cycling friendly roads in the country. The course organiser has achieved a route which with three different distances and difficulties which will appeal to both novice and experienced cyclists. Our 3 riders The Cruise (50 miles), The Classic (70 miles) and The Challenger (100 mile) will be well sign posted throughout and you will also receive at registration a turn by turn waymark listing. (Don't forget you can download the route to a GPS device, just follow our link).

HQ will be Marholm Village Hall which provides adequate, safe parking and pre-ride and post ride refreshments, including home-made cakes, to start and end a satisfying day.

Start time for the three distances will be staggered from 8.00am. Each rider will have their time posted on our website after the event.

Drinks and food stations like the leisurely stop-off's, will be provided in strategic places with nearby cyclist friendly cafes en route which will be indicated on the maps and in the ride instructions for those who like leisurely stop off's.

THe British Cycling entry system gives you a simple and friendly way to enter the event, even if you are not a BC member. Plus each rider on the day will be covered by British Cycling public liability insurance.

Cost to enter is only £14.00 by either via British Cycling (registration fee + £1.00) or by post. On the day entries will be £17.00. (Subject to availability)
