About the Event

Info for Riders

Take part in Orchid's annual OrchidCycle Essex ride on Sunday 8th June to raise vital funds for our work fighting male cancer. Starting from Billericay, participants will wind their way through the beautiful Essex countryside. On finishing the ride, to congratulate the riders on their achievement, there will be a BBQ, beer tent and family entertainment to unwind. In addition, there will be a children’s GoRide/British Cycling event in the park for bike skills and safety. There will also be medals and certificates for all riders. 08/06/2014 With four different road routes available, plus a mountain bike route and a 5k fun run, the event is suitable for people of all ages, abilities and fitness levels: • The 20 and 40 mile routes are fully signposted and marshalled • The 75 mile route, mountain bike route and 5k Fun Run are fully signposted • The 100 mile ride is a fully signposted and timed Sportive for the experienced distance cyclist
