About the Event
Info for Riders
he RMRIDE350 will take place on 2nd August 2014 and is a 350 mile endurance road cycle sportive starting and finishing at the Royal Marines Corps Museum Portsmouth. The ride will be fully supported with 6 support stations. Mechanical support will be available at the main support stations as will medical assistance. All riders will receive a unique cycling jersey, free parking, pre and post ride meal, sports drinks and nutrition en route and family passes (RMRIDE350 wristbands) to the museum grounds. On completion all riders will receive a finisher’s medal, RMRIDE350 Goody bag, embroidered towel (showers will be available) and a brochure containing individual times and event photographs to be sent out 1 month after the event. To ensure this is true ‘Family’ event we are asking for volunteer ‘Ridemakers’ similar to Games-Makers. Approximately 100 Ridemakers will be needed. If you live in or near Portsmouth, Winchester, Blandford, Taunton or Exmouth and wish to volunteer please fill out the Ridemaker
