One Industries Mini Enduro

Mini Enduro – What is it?

Mini Enduro is the new fun exciting way to race Enduro on a mountain bike. Its aimed at new riders to the sport to give it a go and we also have the Pro am category for the more established racers.

There are 3 timed stages in each race with transfers in between, these transfers are not timed and do not count for the overall standing.

The great success of our Mini Downhill races is to bring new riders into racing downhill and we want to recreate this with Mini Enduro, So if you have never raced an Enduro before or just want a bit of fun racing Enduro away from the pressure of Uk Gravity Enduro series, perfect come and try a Mini Enduro.

The race will take place on Sunday 27th April at the Forest of Dean.

Race Date

Sunday 27th April 2014

The Format

The Mini Enduro’s will take place over one day and will be of a shorter distance to allow riders to practice the the 3 stages before the start of the race later in the day.

Live Timing on all stages down to 1/1000 of Second!

All three stage times will be added together to produce the overall results for each category.

The race order is fastest first:

    • Master 30-39
    • Veteran 40-49

    • Open 17 & Under
    • Hardtail 12+
    • Women

Timing

The race is timed the same way as our downhill races using the lastest Tag Heuer Professional timing equipment, each stage will be timed down to 1/1000 second.

We can give you live results pretty much anywhere, we have timed races from inside multi story car parks to races on the side of a mountains for the 4x Pro Tour and in forests all over the country. This mean’s a serious investment in extra new equipment but we want to give you the rider the best experience possible.

  • 17 & Under
  • 18-29
  • 30-39
  • 40-49

Hardtail?

Some say there is not much disadvantage to racing on a hardtail to a full suspension bike so why do a category for them?

We see this has ride what you have type of racing if you have an all mountain bike that’s great if you have hardtail XC bike or a do it all hardtail then this is way for you start racing on it and chance to stand on the podium in your category.

Pro-Am?

This category is for the more experienced racers to have some fun racing and get some practice in for the Uk Gravity Enduro Series.

For Example if your in the at least the top 10 of your category Junior, Senior, Master, Vets in the Uk Gravity Enduro Series you should race Pro-Am so you can test yourself against other quick riders and rider a different group of riders which will spice things up and hopefully make it more fun racing a Mini Enduro.
