About the Event

Info for Riders

Robert Millar is still in our opinion one the greatest Grand Tour riders ever to come out of The British Isles and in his early years, he trained extensively on the roads around Glasgow. The event celebrates much of what Robert Millar was famous for: the challenge of climbing and it negotiates a number of well known climbs including the 'Braes of Greenock', 'Dukes Pass', 'Top of The World', 'Crow Road' and the 'Tak ma Doon' road. With two routes, a 98 mile and a 44 mile option this event will challenge all riders. Participating in the event will also help to support a development programme for a new generation of promising young cyclists via The Braveheart Cycling Fund. 98 mile & 44 mile route options Changing and shower facilities at Fintry Sports Club, Kippen Road, Fintry, G63 0YA.
