Event Overview
As the Cycling season draws to a close, good sportives are becoming harder and harder to find. If like us you don’t want to lose your form over the winter, you’ll be looking for a November ride that is challenging yet suitable for the Autumnal conditions.
Well, we have the ride for you. The Essex Season Ender takes place on roads that can be thoroughly enjoyed at any time of year. We’ve worked hard to take this route through some beautiful countryside that can be enjoyed by all, but at the same time minimised junctions and crossings so that all you speed freaks can get a real rhythm going.
The Perfect End of Season SportiveOur event HQ is the prestigious Redbridge Cycling Centre, here the ride starts off with a ride around the newly build X mile close track. The raised location of the land in this part of essex gives you a stunning view of the City of London while still being surrounded by the peace of the countryside.
From here the route heads out into the quiet, well kept roads of rural essex. Feed stops are located in picturesque villages, if any of you participated in the recent Hertfordshire 100, you’ll know how famous our feed stations have become!
