Info for Riders
EVENT CANCELLED - FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT THE EVENT ORGANISER. The Summer Breeze Sportive and Charity Bike Ride are on Sunday 3rd August 2014. Once again, at the request of returning riders, we intend keeping the routes more or less the same as in previous years and after the success of running the event from our base last year the start and finish for the ride will again be at Plantation Hall, Colchester Road, Heybridge, near Maldon. The 88 mile long Sportive route starts at 9am and has an entry fee of £20. The shorter 25 mile route starts at 10am with an entry fee of £15. Alex Dowsett is supporting the event again this year following his amazing ride to break the National 10 mile Time Trial record. The route follows some of the roads used by the Tour de France this July. We are sorry that this event has been changed from 10th August to 3rd August. As in previous years, there will be hot food and refreshments back at base for riders and their supporters.
