Event Overview

Kinross Cycling Club, the organisers of Sportive Kinross, are delighted to be staging the Kinross Cycling Club Family Cycle challenge in support of local charities. The event is aimed at familys of all ages fancying a day out in Kinross-shire. Here you will ride your bike in a stunning setting around the heritage trail cycle path at Loch Leven, Kinross. Viewing historic buildings and stunning scenery and have a fun day out on your bike.

The event is a mini cyclo sportive for families, friends and children (all children must be accompanied by an adult). We are giving you a choice of three categorised routes to suit various ages and abilities.

The entry fee is £10.00 for a family of up to four and £10.00 for individuals.
 

  • Souvenir Entry number to display on your bike
  • Completion medal.
  • Fully marshalled route.
  • Feeding station.
  • All persons under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Fully insured by British Cycling

A feed station is included along the course plus there are plenty of Cafes to stop off at on the way round and the option for lunch or coffee in the Bistro our event head quarters.

Info for Riders

The event is a mini cyclo sportive for families, friends and children (all children must be accompanied by an adult). We are giving you a choice of three categorised routes to suit various ages and abilities. All riders will receive a commemorative medal, the event is non competitive and intended as fun day out. Riders numbers will be issued a souvenir event number as a way for us to track who is out on the course. If you have a charity you wish to support we do encourage you to do so, and please let us know who and how much you raised. Entry is for families of up to 4 people or individuals.
