Take part in sportive which covers almost a complete circuit of Leicestershire. There is a run option at the end of each ride for those preparing for a triathlon.

The routes are hilly in places but rolling others, so you will get the chance to ride at a good average speed in a group, giving you the chance to ride for the day with friends and make new aquaintances on the road.

The event takes advantage of the varied nature of Leicestershire terrain, combining the tough hills of the Charnwood forest with rolling and flat sections where riders can move at a good speed and nudge up the average.

THERE IS A 5KM RUN OPTION FOR TRIATHLETES AT THE END OF EACH RIDE DISTANCE. The run route is through the University campus and an almost traffic free lane. A map can be found on the route link below.

There are six options, a 116 mile cycle ride, an 90 mile ride and a 68 mile cycle ride, all of which can be done with the 5km run. There are three feedstations on the long route, two on the medium and one on the short route.

The Hope Against Cancer Leicestershire SuperTour is a charity sportive which takes advantage of the varied terrain Leicestershire has to offer. Combining the tough hills of the Charnwood Forest in the west, the rugged terrain of the east and the rolling countryside and flats in between, there is something for everyone.
