Sunday 27th July 2014 sees Hartlepool hosting its first annual cycling event in aid of The British Heart Foundations "Mending Broken Hearts" Appeal... There are three routes to choose from so whether you fancy yourself as a budding Chris Froome or simply enjoy a nice ride this is an event for you! The 52.5 mile loop has a few testing hills and a couple of good descents we will have an opitional Strava KOM hill climb. A good testing route that is available to view on our facebook page link below. The 20 mile ride is ideal for a first time sportive rider and relatively flat bar a few bridge inclines. The 5 mile family ride is along a sea front promenade where there plenty of place to stop for kids to play on swings and even a few local cafes if the mood takes you. Nothing challenging and as Flat as you will get. there is one road to cross to get onto the prom which will be marshalled
