Event Overview
Thrills, hills and hopefully no spills! High Above Hay is a gloriously scenic ride from the book town of Hay on Wye into the Black Mountains and beyond. Using quiet country roads riders trace a figure of eight through the Welsh borderlands, with 65 and 100 mile options. Feed stations en-route will keep participants fuelled so they enjoy the dramatic finish to the full - a 4 mile descent from the iconic and very beautiful Gospel Pass back down to the River Wye.

Two route options - High Abve Hay 65 = 111 km with 1,570 m climb. HIgh Above Hay 100 = 159 km with 1,895 m climb. On-line entry Start and finish at Drover Cycles in Hay on Wye, HR3 5EH Electronic timing Event specific route markings Three fully stocked feed stations Event Photography Emergency Support Vehicle Please note: But web entry closes at midnight on Wednesday April 23rd. On-the-day entry available at £35 and £30 respectively.
