Hero Ride - Cardiff to London

Our first Hero Ride to start in Wales, the Cardiff to London Dragon Dash in support of Help for Heroes covers 170 miles. Leaving vibrant Cardiff city centre the route heads due east to London, crossing the mighty River Severn. 

After a stopover in the historic market town of Chippenham in Wiltshire, we ride alongside some of our wounded servicemen and women, through the scenic Home Counties before arriving at Blackheath Common for the exciting climax of the ride when we join the other routes to cycle en mass through London!


Itinerary:

Day 1: Meet in Cardiff

Day 2: Cardiff to Chippenham (70 miles)

Day 3: Chippenham to Farnborough (70 miles)

Day 4: Farnborough - Blackheath - Central London finale (30 miles)

RIDE: Hero Ride - Cardiff to London (Dragon Dash) DATE: 5 - 8 June 2013 DISTANCE: approx. 170 miles LEVEL: Demanding – training in and out of the saddle essential START: Cardiff (location tbc) FINISH: Blackheath Common, London REGISTRATION FEE: £125 (payable at the time of registration) SUGGESTED MINIMUM FUNDRAISING TARGET: £1,400 FUNDRAISING TIMELINES: You will be required to pay £850 of the suggested minimum target to Help for Heroes by Friday 7 March in order to cover to costs of your participation. All remaining fundraised money should be with us within a month of the challenge taking place. RIDE STATUS: Spaces Available
