About our club

Backstedt Bike Performance Race Club
Magnus would like to welcome you into his extended family that is the Backstedt Bike Performance Race Club (BBPRC). This club is based around the Backstedt name, which has become synonymous with modern day bike racing. Magnus has a rich heritage within road racing, which also extends to his wife Megan, a former Team GB International athlete and British national champion. Following in their footsteps, both of their daughters also represent Team GB cycling. The aim of the club is to generate a family feel, and to cater for people racing at all levels of cycling, representing the club in the UK and abroad. That family fun ethos extends to club activities where we intend to hold training weekends, both in the UK and abroad plus track sessions for novice and experienced riders to hone their skill on the boards and enter events where club riders can test their metal against others. Club members will be welcomed to attend various sporting events to marshal and provide support, putting something back into cycling whilst having fun. If you are bored of the same old thing over the winter, come and join our club, we welcome all abilities.
