BMX National Series 2022

Cumbernauld in Scotland played host to Rounds 5 and 6 of the 2022 National BMX series at the weekend, with Olympic and World Champion Bethany Shriever finishing the weekend with back-to-back victories.

Round 5

Great Britain riders Kye Whyte and Quillan Isidore competed on the Saturday and fought out another great battle. Whyte went around the outside of Isidore in the first berm to go on to take the win, with Isidore in second place and Ed Moore rounding off the podium in third.

Shriever put on another dominating performance, winning four out of four races, while Markella Houli took second, followed by Peckham's Shani Harris-Sherwood in third.

In the junior men category, Ashton Cooper got off to a flying start, but it was Alexander Talbott who snuck up the inside in the second berm with an amazing pass to take him from third to first place.  Hardknox rider Cooper just about held off George Hunt to finish in second.
