City of Cardiff Council has now launched public consultation on the Cardiff Cycling Strategy 2016-2026, which sets out the Council’s vision for cycling over the next 10 years.

Public consultation is also continuing on the City of Cardiff Council’s 15-year vision to improve cycling and walking routes across the city, with an Integrated Network Map for walking and cycling. This will meet the requirements of the Active Travel (Wales) Act 2013 to plan for the provision of routes and improvements for active travel.

Consultation Events

We will be running consultation events during February and March where you can view the proposals and have your say:

  • Tuesday 7th February, 6pm-7pm, Grangetown Hyb
  • Thursday 23rd February, 6pm-8pm, Room C, City Hall
  • Saturday 11th March, 10.30am-3pm, The Old Library, The Hayes

The closing date for the consultation on the Cycling Strategy and the Integrated Network Map is 28th March 2017.
