Reporting a Concern
Do you have a safeguarding or welfare concern? Welsh Cycling and British Cycling take all allegations relating to Safeguarding Young People and Vulnerable Adults very seriously. Safeguarding is the responsibility of everyone, if you have concerns it is essential that you report them.
If you are, or if you know of a friend or child who is being abused and may be in immediate danger, please contact one of the following without delay:
Police – 999
NSPCC – 0808 0800 5000
Childline – 0800 1111
If you are or believe a child is in non-immediate danger, you can speak to your Club Welfare Officer or you can complete one of the following forms and email it with the title “Safeguarding Concerns” to: email@example.com
Please note: This policy refers to Working Together to Safeguard Children 2010, however in Wales we adhere to the guidance Safeguarding Children: Working Together Under the Children Act 2004 (2006)
The policy is reviewed every three years or whenever there is a major change in the organisation (date of next review: March 2017)
