Women-only cycling sessions at Carmarthen Showground return this winter to develop confidence and skills on the bike.

The sessions will be head each month at Carmarthen Showgorund, supported by Swansea University and Welsh Cycling. There will be two sessions held on each. The Novice Women session is aimed at women who would like to develop confidence and their ability to ride in a group. The second session will be suitable for the more experienced rider.

The sessions, organised by Aled Jones, aim to increase the confidence and ability of female riders to ride as part of a group. This will lead to additional activities such as social rides, training and even racing in the future. There is a demand from female riders in the local area to provide opportunities to develop skills, and Carmarthen Showground is an ideal facility to practice.
