The half-way mark and round five of the Welsh Cyclocross League took us to Pembrey Country Park where the competitors faced yet another challenging course. Lots of action took place throughout the day and usual proceedings ensued with the kids races firstly taking place, followed by the action of the Youth race, and the Women’s race, before the day was concluded with the Men’s race. With a very good turnout from the riders, they all battled it out for the all-important league points and podium positions. Some very impressive times were produced throughout the day from competitors which made for an exciting spectacle for all spectators.
