Team Wales: Stage 1, Holland Ladies Tour

Wales Women's team are competing at the Tour of Holland this week in preperation for the Commonwealth Games. The team includes:

Alex Greenfield

Hannah Rich

Kara Chesworth

Angharad Mason

Lowri Bunn 

Stage 1: was won by Ina Teuteborg from HTC Colombia, with Kara, Alex and Hannah Rich all finishing at the same time as the winner in 81st, 86th and 110th place respectively. Angharad was 125 at 43 seconds and Lowri Bunn was 159 @ 11.18 after being taken out in a crash on the finishing circuit.

Stage 2: saw strong rides by both Kara and Alex today. Several cobbled sections split the bunch with both Kara and Alex in the lead group until 10k to go when the group split on the run into finish.
Alex finished 59th and Kara 88th at 1 min 3 secs behind the winners.
Lowri, Hannah and Angharad all finished in the chase group at 3.31, in 137, 145 and 149 place respectively.
