Revolution returns to National Cycling Centre for round two this weekend

Revolution returns to the National Cycling Centre in Manchester this weekend for the second round of the series, where Wales’ Team USN will be back on track.

Team USN’s Lewis Oliva and Chris Pritchard will line up in the Elite Men’s Sprint competition, where triple World Champion Francois Pervis will lead the international field to take on the Brits in Manchester.

Fresh from World Cup success, Amy Roberts, Elinor Barker and Ciara Horne will take to the boards in the Elite Women’s Endurance events, with Manon Lloyd, Emily Nelson, Ellie Coster, Emily Kay and Anna Christian in Team USN colours. Wales’ Megan Barker and Amy Hill will also be competing in Manchester.

Joe Holt will be joined in round two by Owen James in the Elite Men’s Endurance Championship. Luke Rowe will pair up with fellow Team Sky member Peter Kennaugh with NFTO’s Sam Harrison and Jon Mould also competing this weekend.

Welsh Cycling will also support Welsh youth riders competing in the HOY Future Stars Championship. Rhys Britton current leads the HOY Future Stars Boys Championships for Team USN. Will Roberts joins him in Team USN colours, along with Jessica Roberts and Elizabeth Bennett. Oliver Postle will compete for Team Sky, with Sophie Williams and Megan Chard riding for Orica-Green Edge.

Revolution round 2 takes place Saturday 22 November at the National Cycling Centre, Manchester. Highlights will be shown on Channel 4 on Saturday 29 November.
