Marsh Tracks Race Team are welcoming competitors to race the Marsh Tracks Autumn Criterium on Sunday 22 September. The event, sponsored by Faenol Fawr Country House Hotel, will encompass the final round in the Wiggle Project 2018 Race Series, as well as categories for Women and senior riders.
The facility, based in Rhyl, Denbighshire, will begin with the Women's event at 11.30am. This is third Women's only race to be held at Marsh Tracks this year, which has attracted many female competitors to Rhyl.
The first of the youth races, Under 8s and Under 10s will then start at 12.30pm followed by Under 12s at 1.00pm. Prize presentations will be made for the first races at 1.30pm before the Under 14 and 16 Girls' racing begins at 1.40pm and the Under 14 and 16 Boys at 2.40pm. The youth races are part of the Wiggle Project 2018 Race Series, and will conclude the overall series for 2013.
The final event of the day will be the E1234 categories who begin racing at 3.50pm.
Online entries close on Sunday 15 September. Riders can enter on the day.
The event is sponsored by the Faenol Fawr Country House Hotel who are offering discounted family rooms for those arriving on Saturday 21 September at £70 per room, including breakfast, just quote MTRT to book.
As the K-Tape Series draws to a close this week, the Marsh Tracks Autumn Criterium will provide an opportunity to compete on the circuit later in the month.
**The Women's Race will now be combined with the Youth A/B Girls and run at 1.40pm. Results will be seperated. Prize list for both events is 1st £20, 2nd £15, 3rd £10.**
