East Newport CSC Vs Eastbourne
East Newport Cycle Speedway Club made the long journey to Eastbourne this past weekend 27th May to face Hellingly Lions in 3 South & South Wales fixtures division 1, combination & conference.
With home track advantage the Lions came home with a 94 - 85 victory. Credit to the East Newport side that battled hard throughout this match on the tight Hellingly circuit can be proud of the way they rode today.

Next up was the 8 heat Combination match. The East Newport 5 Andy Cobley, Ieuan Payne, Colin Widly, Tudor Coombes & making her combination debut Jamielea Walters who was voted rider of the match, came home with a tight away victory 44 - 47.
Final action of the day was Conference league, & with the East Newport Dragons currently in the top 3 of this league came home 66- 83 winners. There was a joint man of the match award going to Tudor Coombes & Ethan Greenslade.
