CONTRACT:               Full time (37.5 hours per week), permanent

SALARY:                     £21,000 - £23,500 per annum (dependent on experience)

REPORTING               Head of Performance and Coaching

Job Purpose

This post will be responsible for providing administrative support for Scottish Cycling’s Performance department, supporting effective planning and delivery of Performance Development Programme activity.  The role will contribute to supporting the delivery of the targets as defined in the Performance section of Scottish Cycling’s Strategic and Annual Business Plans. 

You will play a pivotal role in our team, working closely with our Head of Performance and Coaching, Performance Coaches, and programme athletes.  The successful post holder will be a key link with external partners including Scottish Cycling club coaches, facility providers, sportscotland, Great Britain Cycling Team and Commonwealth Games Scotland. 

Other Information

The post is full time 37.5 hours per week although there will be an expectation to work flexibly to meet the needs of the organisation. The nature of the organisation is that meetings and events happen at weekends and evenings and the postholder will be required to attend at least some events out with normal Monday to Friday working hours

The post will be based at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow; however, a flexible approach will be required to manage the demands of the job. Reasonable travel, accommodation and administrative expenses incurred in carrying out this position are reimbursed in line with the Scottish Cycling’s Travel and Subsistence policy.
