Scottish Cycling West are looking for notes of interest from West clubs who would hosti the 2016 Scottish Cycling West Hill Climb Championships.
We have some classic climbs in the region, and many clubs who are experienced and successful event organsiers and want to combine the two to offer a new regional Championship!
Hill Climb racing is a challenge for riders, and an ever popular discipline as riders want one last test of their climbing legs before the end of the season.
This is a great opportunity for your club to put on the first SC West Hill Climb Champs and to discover a truly testing climb.
The proposed date for the event is the 18th of September 2016.
Interested clubs should contact Morven Brown (Morven.brown@scottishcycling.org.uk or 07808253483) with their proposed course by Friday the 11th December 2015. In the event of multiple clubs applying to host this event, the Regional Development Group shall decide on the host.
