Glasgow Sports Person of the Year Awards 2015 will take place on Friday 19th February 2016 at Glasgow City Chambers.
These awards are an opportunity to celebrate some of the best athletes, coaches and volunteers in the city and recognise their achievements.
Nominations are now being sought across all the categories, with many riders and colunteers in the world of cycling highly deserving of such a nomination.
There was success for cycling in 2014, with the Glasgow Riderz winning the coveted Club of the Year Award.
Categories include:
- Evening Times Disabled Athlete of the Year Award
- Glasgow Service to Sport - Lifetime Achievement Award
- Evening Times Glasgow Young Sportsperson of the Year Awards
- Glasgow Student Athlete of the Year Award sponsored by University of Strathclyde
- Evening Times Glasgow Volunteer of the Year Award
- Glasgow Coach of the Year Award
- Glasgow Club of the Year Award
- Glasgow Team of the Year Award
- Glasgow Primary School of the Year Award
- Glasgow Secondary of the Year Award
- Sports Person of the Year
