Scottish Cycling West was formally established on Monday 23rd March 2015.
Scottish Cycling West comprises of 9 local authority areas: Glasgow City, North Lanarkshire, South Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, Argyll & Bute, West Dunbartonshire, East Dunbartonshire, and Inverclyde.
Sophie Warburton, the Scottish Cycling Development Manager, looks after the clubs within Glasgow City and the two BMX clubs in the West region.
Fraser Johnston, Regional Development Officer looks after the rest of the West region (and the South-West too!)
The current Regional Development Group was elected after a Regional Club Forum in June 2018 and is comprised of the following members:
