Catering

‘Keep it local, keep it real’ is the watchword and we’ll have The Hot Pot Café, Pickled Lemon Company and Downright Delicious on site to keep you fuelled over the weekend. They have been collaborating on the menu choices to keep it varied and to cover all the bases. Might even be a pasty or two.

The course

The course is based in an old mining pit and has been a huge hit with local riders taking part in the South West Series. The terrain is rocky and drains well. The climbs are mostly on wide tracks with a rocky base, the descents are a mixture of flowing fast singletrack and steep chutes and drops. The following links take you to galleries of photos from our recent regional events on the course. http://www.flickr.com/photos/49331967@N08/sets/72157633195603780/

Tyre choice

Even if we have torrential downpours, you will not need a mud tyre. Due to the rocky nature of the track, you use lightweight tyres with thin sidewalls at your peril! The advice from Fully Sussed is to go for a summer tyre, but not your super light version.
