Paul Oldham continued his imperious start to the Yorkshire Points League with another comfortable victory in Keighley.

The 2011 National Champion looked like he may have a bit of competition on the first lap as Adam martin got off to a flying start.

But Martin couldn’t keep it up and Oldham completed his 12 laps in 59:20. He was 2:23 ahead of Ian Wilkinson of Endura in second and as he did last week, started lapping the field.

This time the 35-year-old lapped everyone up to sixth and it’s hard to see who is going to come between him and victory.

Wilkinson was comfortable in second, with a 25 second lead over third despite crashing on lap four. Home third was Craven Energy veteran Ian Taylor.

But it was a great ride from Taylor who once again won the veteran race at a canter before entering the senior contest.

Another rider in form was Billy Harding (Paul Milnes) who was top junior. Harding was in tenth place but managed to claw his way into sixth place.

Ian Taylor led the veteran race from the start and gradually built up a big lead, leaving Andy Peace of FIS 1:44 behind.

Adela Carter was the quickest woman again, following up her great ride last week with a similar performance.

All the riders that won last week won again today and Cliff Barnes of Zepnat picked up his second victory in the youth series.

Cliff was never troubled by any of the other riders and had opened a gap of almost a minute by the end of the race. Jack Fillingham (Pedalsport) in second had a good ride too, working his way up from eighth.
