Over 50 riders turned up for "Taste the Tor"

KILO TO GO invited cyclists to join them on an organised ride - Taste the Tor - last weekend. It gave riders an opportunity to see how the Verenti Cornwall Tor route has developed. Riders could choose between a 36 or 48 mile route. Watch the video.

Over 50 riders turned up at the Dragon Leisure Centre in Bodmin on a beautiful sunny day. The routes headed out over undulating countryside towards St Neot. The routes split after St Neot witht he long route taking in a climb up to Minions (1000ft), whilst the shorter route took in some free flowing roads down through Dobwalls. The routes combined again at Duloe to take in some awesome decents down into Looe. Looe is on the long route option of the Verenti Cornwall Tor where riders take in the hilly Atlantic coastline and then ride the smooth decending roads to Looe on the south Cornish coastline.

After a quick stop in Looe, riders climbed out of Looe up, and followed a northernly route which took in some fantastic views across the Cornish countryside. Before returning to Bodmin, the route passed Lanhydrock House and took in a fast decent back in to Bodmin.
