Cotswold Spring Classic Returns on Easter Monday

The Cotswold Spring Classic - the best way to spend Easter Monday on your bike

Posted: 24th February 2010

The Cotswold Spring Classic sportive returns on Easter Monday (5th April) for its second year. Following on from a successful first run in 2009, the organisers have kept to the Easter Monday format (the only sportive in the country on that day) to enable riders to round off their Easter Weekend with a great day out on the bike.

With a choice of two routes (105km and 179km), well stocked feed stations, NEG outriders, neutral service support, electronic timing, photography, a finishers goodie bag and much more - it's the perfect excuse to ride off that extra chocolate egg you know you shouldn't have eaten.

Based in Cirencester, in the heart of the Cotswolds, the two routes give a great combination of stunning scenery and tough climbs - the total altitude climbed may not seem too hard, but climbs in the Cotswolds are notoriously steep with a number of last year's riders saying it was harder than the etape!! Full details of the event can be found on the website www.cotswoldspringclassic.co.uk and with entries filling fast it's a must do event not to be missed.
