Fred Whitton Challenge Entries Open

Posted: 4th January 2010

Entries have opened for what is arguably the most sought-after sportive ride on the UK calendar - the Lakeland monster that is the Fred Whitton Challenge.

Taking place on Sunday 9th May, the Fred will once again take riders over the fearsome passes of Kirkstone, Hardknott and Wrynose, amongst many other brutal climbs, on its tortuous 112 passage around the Lakeland roads.

If you want to bag a place on this monument of the sportive calendar, you need to be quick, as entries are reportedly only open for a week, and are likely to sell out much quicker.
