HSBC Go-Ride Development and Training Cluster Session

Go-Ride , North Berwick – Saturday, 24 Feb 2018

Event Summary

Event Overview

Event sign-on will be 9.30 for 10am ride start. Will finish at 1pm. More details will be emailed on Wednesday 21st Feb.

ERC in association with Scottish Cycling is arranging a series of events through 2018 for developing road racing skills. These are open to all youth riders in Scotland with birth years of 2002-2007. (Junior Women born 2000/2001 are also welcome to attend).

We are pleased to offer a first session at the East Fortune Motor Circuit. This session is the week prior to the first ERC Season Starter criterium race at the venue, and so will allow riders to experience the circuit in advance.

For those that have not been to a Cluster session before, they are intended for riders that are currently racing, or would like to race in youth races (usually Crits). They are intensive sessions and last approx. 3 hours, and give riders experience in riding in fast groups in race-like environment. They are coach lead sessions, and take place on a closed road environment.

The sessions will be split into Development groups (those new to road racing) and Training Groups (those more experienced).
