Event Summary

Event Overview

Working with Professional Cyclist Jack Pullar (Pedal Heaven RT), we are proud to announce the Tour of Lancashire Circuits – Sportive.

We are holding our first ever sportive on the 3rd of July 2016.

Tour of Lancashire’s Circuits will be the first of its kind and will give riders the opportunity to challenge themselves round well known circuits and climbs.

There will be two routes available with 100 miles and 62 miles that will take in, Oakenclough, Dolphinholme and Bashall Eaves circuits. On each circuit, riders will be able to challenge themselves on what we like to call a ‘hot lap’!

As well as the circuits, riders will tackle climbs such as the Trough of Bowland and Hall Hill leaving Whitewell. This is sure to be one of the most scenic sportive’s in the UK!

After all this, every rider will finish with a lap of the UCLan criterium track where a finish gantry will await you.

About the Event

Info for Riders

This is not a race - it's a non competitive challenge ride where riders will be riding to the highway code.

You can ride the tour in a group, with friends or others - we will set people off in groups of approximately 20. Then when you get to each circuit, you can challenge yourself and each other to see how you manage around some of the best and most challenging road race circuits in the country. At the end of each circuit the group will likely come back together for the ride to the next one. Also, it'll finish with a lap of UCLan Criterium Track.

Riders are to adhere to the highway code at all times.
