Event Overview

Suitable for girls & boys new to the sport or existing racers aged 9-16yrs. Focussing on key road racing & time trialling techniques. You will be outside for 4hrs - 2hrs the morning & 2hrs in the afternoon with a break indoors at lunchtime. Signing-on opens at 9.30am & closes at 9.50am. Session finishes at 3pm. Parents/coaches are welcome to stay during the day in the clubhouse (FREE WIFI) or come with us to the circuit.

ROAD BIKES ESSENTIAL (no aero bars).  Riders must be able to reach & operate brakes when riding in the dropped handle bar position.

HIRE BIKES - Are available directly from the centre. Some road bikes may be available to hire FREE OF CHARGE but must be booked in advance & by the closing date by contacting markwyer@britishcycling.org.uk or telephone 07534 281271. They are most suited to riders in Yr6 upwards so please enquire before booking & to check availability. In particular you need the following minimum saddle heights (measured from pedal to top of saddle).

 - Small: Min saddle height 75 cm /  Max saddle height 92.5cm

- Large: Min saddle height  79.5 cm / Max saddle height 97 cm
