The free Club Management Tool (CMT) has been built specifically for cycling clubs and has been designed to make it easier for you to run your club.
Club secretaries have automatic access to the CMT through their dashboard on the British Cycling website. The CMT has a number of helpful features – this month we’re focussing on the membership manager, which can help you to manage all your club members in one place.
The club management tool will transform the way you communicate with your members and ensure their details are up-to-date and available at the touch of a button. Using the membership manager, you can email members, remove members that have left your club, update emergency contact details and print a copy of your member list. You can even invite club members to take advantage of free or discounted British Cycling membership the first time they join.
Using the new snapshot report, you can view up-to-date segmented information about your club. It breaks down your club membership and displays charts by various sets of data such as gender, age category and racing licence. You can then click on the number above the chart to email selected members. This makes the snapshot a really effective tool to communicate with the different sections of your club.
The club management tool can revolutionise the way you manage your club’s membership. British Cycling members that have told us they are a member of your club will automatically appear in your member list. You then have the option to add in any other existing club members, either by uploading a spreadsheet or inputting individual details - and you’re ready to go.
Top Tip
Invite your members to pay their club subscriptions using British Cycling’s secure web payment system. There is no charge to the club and the money will be paid directly into your club’s chosen bank account.
