Welsh Cycling are pleased to announce a series of Continued Professional Development events for coaches across all levels.

The Welsh Cycling Coaching Network aims to offer further development opportunities on a local level across Wales. Initially, four workshops are being run in October which look at the role of the coach, their personal brand and their coaching environment.

The workshops are being delivered by Workforce Officer Alistair Waldron and Regional staff with the dates being:

• Marsh Tracks – 8th October 2019
• Dolgellau – 10th October
• Whitchurch Sports Club – 14th October
• Carmarthen Leisure Centre – 21st October

“We are making a concerted effort to offer regular and coordinated learning opportunities to the workforce with much more planned after Christmas. We will be looking to offer opportunities for coaches to develop tactically through our coach led racing workshops (dates to be confirmed) which will be in each region, said Alistair Waldron
