Welsh Cycling will once again be hosting an evening of workshops for our clubs on the 8th October at Whitchurch Sports Club from 6.30-9pm. The workshops will offer club officials training in a number of fields to help them in their roles, the last event saw 30 coaches and club officials receive the training in a fun and interactive manor which has helped the clubs involved to continue to develop with the support of Welsh Cycling Staff.

"Our clubs do an incredible job in offering local riders the opportunity to join likeminded riders in cycling clubs and enjoy the sport together, We want to support the clubs by offering an informative evening that will allow them to recruit, retain and support more people in our sport" - South East Development Officer Dan Coast.

The workshops will cover the following subjects:

Welfare Officers – Regional Meeting, Opportunity for networking with fellow officers and discussed the issues experienced with the clubs as well as receiving updates from our National Welfare officer lead.

Coaching Workshop – Self Awareness, Develop your softer skills as a coach by focusing on the understanding and development of yourself. Workshop delivered by Mostyn Richards, Former WRU Elite Coaching and Current head of mentoring at USW
