The Revolution Series roared into Glasgow, with riders putting on an electric display for a packed Sir Chris Hoy velodrome. Round 4 of the national series marked the return of racing to the arena for the first time since the Commonwealth Games.

Putting on a scorching show for the crowd, Lizzie Armitstead claimed the women's points crown after lapping the field three times, with Team USN’s Emily Kay coming in behind Armitstead to take second. Kay also claimed victory in the longest lap and the elimination race for Team USN in the Scottish arena. There was a 1-2 for Team USN in the women’s scratch race with Emily Nelson and Ellie Coster coming in first and second.

In the men’s longest lap, it was Team USN rider Joe Holt who took the win, Holt said “Track standing for a long time, well it felt like a long time. You start feeling it in the legs. Adam Blythe's tactic is good, near the white line which gets you some speed when the gun goes. So I thought, stay behind him and leave a bit of space”. 

In true style, the last race of the evening, the men’s keirin ended in a photo finish, Lewis Olivia dipped his head over the line before chasing Scottish due Jack Carlin and John Paul, who crossed second and third respectively.

Team USN still lead the HOY Future Stars Championship, with Rhys Britton claiming a clean sweep at the weekend and holding on to his leaders jersey.
