Wales Junior Programme riders will compete in the St.Matinusprijis Kontich from 7 – 10 July 2017 in Belgium.

Six Junior Men will compete in the UCI 2.1 race, which is now in its 54th year. The four day event consists of five stages, including both team and individual time trials.

The Wales Junior Programme team will cycle a total of 399,6 km during the five stages, beginning at Wildemansstraat and concluding at the Antwerpsesteenweg finishing line.

Dan Coombe, James Tillett, Sam Tillett, Matt Burke, Oscar Mingay and Josh Price will make up the Wales Junior Programme team.

As the road season is now underway, the riders will be looking to perform as a team whilst building their experience of continental racing conditions. Mingay is currently leading the British Cycling Junior Road Series, whilst Dan Coombe was second in the latest round of the series, the Family Vision Monmouthshire Junior Grand Prix.
