The two-day L'Etape de la Defonce returns this weekend, hosted by Cardiff 100 Miles Road Cycling Club.
21 teams will compete in three stages, starting with a team time trial on the morning of Saturday 17 June, followed by a 52.4 mile road race in the afternoon. Sunday will see teams race in the 44.1 road race departing Cowbridge at 9.30am.
There is strong representation from Welsh Cycling clubs, with Abergavenny RC, Bynea Cycling Club, Forza Cycles Racing Team and Ynys Mon Racing Team amongst the starters, with 84 riders competing over the weekend.
Pedal Cover Insurance, Forza Cycles and Red Dragron Retreading Ltd are supporting the event with competitions in Young Rider Classification and Points Jersey.
