A team of four junior men will compete at the Junior Tour of the Mendips this weekend as part of the Welsh Cycling Junior Programme.

Zach May, Owen James, Steven Williams and Joe Wiltshire will compete at the two day race 6 - 7 April, the first event of the Junior National Road Series after the postponement of Cadence RR due to poor weather conditions.

The event is organised by the Bristol Cycling Development Squad and the course will challenge the riders. Stage one is a flat but exposed circuit around Chew Valley lake, with stage two on Sunday taking the riders into the Mendip hills for four climbs of Burrington Coombe, Blagdon Hill and twice over Harptree Hill.
