Welsh Youth, Junior and Senior Circuit Race Championships

Event timetable - may be subject to adjustment but no event will start earlier than originally scheduled (with the exception of the Youth A which will start 10 minutes earlier – as below)
12.30 – Youth E (Under 8) – 12 minutes
12.45 – Youth D (Under 10) – 15 minutes +1 lap
13.15 – Youth C (Under 12) – 22 minutes +1 lap
13.40 – Youth B (Under 14) Girls – 30 minutes +1 lap
14.30 – Youth B (Under 14) Boys – 35 minutes +1 lap
15.15 – Women’s Team Series Criterium
16.40 – Youth A (Under 16) Boys and Girls – 40 minutes +1lap
17.30 – Veterans – 50 minutes +1lap
18.30 – Seniors and Juniors – 1hour +5laps

Signing on will be adjacent the start/finish area – Point A on the map below. Signing on for the Veterans and Junior Champs will not commence until after the Women’s Team Series event is underway.
All rider, when warming up or riding around the showground, MUST wear helmets at all times and please be aware that there may be machinery and other vehicles moving around the showground during the day as the site is cleared following the Royal Welsh.
Shower, changing and toilet facilities are available on the showground – Point C on the circuit map
For those planning to camp, camping is in the fields below ‘Lower Llanelwedd Wood’ and is accessed via the main showground entrance and via point C on the above map.
The circuit starts and finishes at point A and will be open for warming up from 11.30am. There will be no warming up on the circuit between races!
There is plenty of space to warm up around the showground
NOTE - please be aware that there is a wedding reception in the Members Pavilion (south of the main ring) and riders should be courteous and considerate to guests – this also means that there will be traffic in the southern area of the Showground. Their access is via the south machinery entrance.
