West Wales Cycle Racing Team (www.westwalescycleracing.co.uk)

Serving the Pembrokeshire & Ceredigion areas, West Wales Cycle Racing is a newly created cycling team which aims to introduce as many young people as possible to cycle sport and develop new youth and senior talent in the area. WWCRT will build a pyramid structure taking in novice riders and introducing them to all aspects of cycling in a safe, friendly and fun environment and developing them upwards until they are competing regularly in competitions.

Supported by sponsorship from Pembrokeshire Bikes and able to use the facility at the Cardigan Bay Karting Centre, WWCRT will provide regular go-ride style sessions for novice riders as well as more race-orientated sessions for the more advanced riders. At the top of the pyramid sits those youth, junior and senior riders that compete regularly in both Wales and their respective national series.

Backed by a very experienced team of coaches, WWCRT will be able to offer novice introductory sessions, competitive training sessions, coaching and technical advice across all cycling disciplines and age groups.

Sessions are held every Friday at 5pm at the Cardigan Bay Karting Centre, Llwyncelyn, near Aberaeron. The first session starts on Friday June 8th and every week thereafter.

2 race evenings of youth races are also planned for Fridays 6th & 20th July. Enter online here via the BC website.
