CSAS Training 4th and 5th February 2012

CSAS Training will be taking place on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th February 2012.

If you have not previously been involved in the CSAS cycle marshalling scheme then this is your chance!  You will receive ALL the training and equipment necessary for you to assist cycle events with the legal power to stop and direct traffic.  You will be helping to promote our sport and keeping all road users particularly the cyclists safe.

The training will now take place at the University Campus, Caerleon, Newport.

Lodge Road, Caerleon, Newport, South Wales. NP18 3QT

A buffet will be provided for you lunch time and together with tea/coffee in the morning and during the afternoon. Big thank you to Alison Durston for arranging this all for us!

You will need to be there for 08:45 and the training will commence at 09:00.

The training will conclude by 17:00 (5pm)

You will need to attend this training if:

1. You have not previously received training.

2. You are already CSAS trained but did not attend refresher training in 2011

You do not need to attend this training if:

You have already attended a basic/initial CSAS training course AND you attended refresher training in 2011.

You will need to provide Leeanne with the following information:

1. Your full name.

2. Full contact details - address, email address, mobile and home telephone numbers.

3. Your current CSAS status - untrained or trained.

4. Which of the dates is best suited to you - you only need to attend one of the days training.

The numbers will be limited to a manageable number on each day so you MUST book in with Leeanne. Please do not just turn up on the day.

Leeanne is helping us out by taking on the logisitics of attendance for us so please keep this in mind when dealing with her. She really is helping us out big time here.

Please remember to bring your CSAS uniform (high vis jacket and trousers) with you if you have one.
