Rowe ready to roll with Team Sky in 2012

Twenty one-year-old Luke Rowe is one of cycling’s brightest prospects and as he prepares himself to ride with one of the top Pro Cycling teams in the sport there is no better place to train and prepare than on the roads around South Wales. Rain or shine the young Welsh rider now fully equipped with his Sky Pro Cycling gear is ready to role with the worlds best riders.

Early this morning, Luke Rowe proudly showed off his Team Sky kit that he can now wear as part of the team, his first after three years in the GB Academy.

He says “I can’t wait to get racing. As soon as I found out I was going to get an opportunity to ride for Sky, I have been waiting for January to come so I can we can get started.”

Luke joins fellow Welshman and friend Geraint Thomas along with the current World road race Champion Mark Cavandish.
