Online entry for Round One of the 2015 Welsh MTB XC Series at Pembrey Country Park has been extended to Wednesday 4 March. The weather is set to be superb and the venue has proved very popular with riders in the A Cycling promoted Pembrey Winter XC Series.

The fast, sandy, roller-coaster course will provide a sufficient challenge for the series opener, with A and B lines in the technical sections to ensure that all abilities are catered for; one thing, for sure, is that it will be fun. The lap time is estimated to be about 15 minutes for the fastest riders; category race times will be in accordance with British Cycling Technical Regulations.

There is a Master category but riders with full racing licences will be awarded ranking points at the next lowest points band to the Expert and Sport categories.

Technical assistance during a race (not a bike change) is permitted only in the feed/technical assistance zone; repairs and equipment changes can be carried out by the rider himself or with help from a team-mate/mechanic. This applies to all categories. Helmet/chest/handlebar-mounted video cameras are not permitted when racing.
