Local cycling clubs and interested parties are invited to attend the public consultation over the redevelopment of Carmarthen Velodrome later this month. The velodrome is scheduled to re-open in September 2017.

The event will take place from 6.00pm Tuesday 21 March at St Peter's Civic Hall, Nott Square, organised by Carmarthen Town Council with Welsh Cycling also in attendance. 

Once complete, the regenerated velodrome will have a new surface on the track, alongside new safety railings which will enable the facility to be used once again by local cycling clubs, and to hold competitive cycling events.

Welsh Cycling encourages all cycling clubs interested in using Carmarthen Velodrome in the future to attend the consultation.
