Some Children in Powys may be getting over eating too many Easter eggs but 26 Newtown Primary school children came along to Newtown High School.

During their session they had half a day of Multi Sports with Kate Preston, Newtown Community Sports Development Officer and the other Half with Tim Matthews, North Wales Young Rider Development Officer, Welsh Cycling and Mike Holwill, Youth Coach from Hafren Cycling Club.

The Children were able to test out their Skills in and out of the cones, see if they could balance on a narrow piece of wood and duck under the Limbo pole.

Following a fun day of activity, all children really enjoyed their day.  If any children wish to be involved in Cycling within the Newtown & Welshpool area, please contact Hafren Cycling Club through their website.
