After the mud-fest of last week at Tredegar Park, Newport it was same again at Singleton Park as Gower Riders played host to round 8 of the Welsh Cyclo-cross league.
Again it was another great turnout across the categories as riders looked to claim those all important points to claim victory in their respective league tables.
Throughout the races there were some standout performances as Ruby Miller (Hope Factory Racing) produced another impressive display to take victory in the women’s race. Griff Lewis (Ystwyth Cycling Club) was once again in the thick of the action in the under 16 race as he produced a strong display to take victory ahead of Jack Hastings (Cardiff JIF) and Rhys Thomas (Maindy Flyers).
In the final race of the day it was Steven James (Hope Factory Racing) who took his place on the top step of the podium ahead of Ben Nott and Clarke James (Abergavenny Cycling Club) after looking strong throughout the race.
